Once this is done, individuals wishing to sign up for auditions must pay an audition fee of 5000 FCFA and a compulsory tax rate of 150 FCFA to the number 679767332 with the recipients name as NDILON MILANIE Contestants must use as reference their first name, the acronym of the town where they’ll be auditioning and CGT at the end. For instance ( MaryDLA,CGT ). Once the fee is paid, the candidate must send a screenshot of the payment receipt to the WhatsApp number 674029872. Once the receipt is received the the contestant will be added to National Forum where tips and drills will be given to contestants before the auditions commence.
NB: Any fees sent to any number apart from that officially stipulated in this writeup shall not be accounted for by the organization.

THE AUDITION PROCESS
Talented hopefuls can audition for the show by appearing at an open call or sending in a video of their performance ( this is applicable only to contestants not residing close to any audition center) Experts recommend that acts try to get to one of the in-person audition sites to perform because producers like seeing the talent in person.
The first round of all auditions for Cameroon’s Got Talent are open to the public, which means the line for auditions could be very long. When a contestant arrives for an audition they are assigned a contestant sticker number based on their position in line. Then they simply wait for their number to come up.
Unlike other reality talent shows in which acts don’t find out if they move on during the day of their audition, Instead, our contestants find out if they move to the next round of the competition or not.
During the auditions, contestants are then given just a maximum of 2minutes to perform their act for the judges and a live audience. At the end of their act, they receive a little bit of feedback or criticism from the judges and then the judges vote to see who moves on to the next stage. Contestants are eliminated if they don’t get the majority vote at this time.
Each judge has a buzzer to use if they dislike a performer. If all three judges “buzz” an act, the act is automatically eliminated.
THE MAGIC OF THE GOLDEN BUZZER
Now, during an audition, a judge has the opportunity to automatically send a contestant to the Life shows even if the other judges disagree. The judges can only use their golden buzzer once per season. Additionally, the host of the show is able to use the Golden Buzzer as well, if they have an act they’d like to save.
The acts who get through auditions achieve a place in the live competition (SEMIFINALS) where they all compete against each other to make it to the live finale.
Judges then see each participant give a brand new performance of their act during a “performance episode”. Judges give them their positive and negative feedback and then (as long as an act hasn’t been terminated by the buzzers) the public has a set time to vote for their favorite performers.

THE SEMIFINALS PROCESS
Contestants who get selected at the level of the auditions, are expected to pay a registrations of 10.000 FCFA each and a compulsory tax rate of 150FCFA. Contestants who made it through the auditions to the semifinals are expected to pay this fees on or before the 24th of June 2022. It is only upon payment of this fees that contestants be validated as candidates of Cameroon’s Got Talent 2022.
*How to pay the registration fee*. Send in the fee and the text rate of 150FCFA TO THE ORGANIZATIONS MOBILE MONEY ACCOUNT (Momo acct) using the telephone number 679767332 with the recipients name as NDILON MILANIE. Contestants must use as reference their first name and add semi finalist . For instance ( Mary,Semifinalist). At the event
The semifinals is nothing different from the auditions, only more challenging and tough acts by contestants wishing to gain a spot at the grand national finals. Same rules as of the auditions will apply at this stage. It should be noted that the semifinals shall be hosted in only two regions of the country, in the cities of Yaoundé and Bamenda or Douala and Bamenda. Therefore, contestants from the cities of Yaoundé and Douala should be psychologically prepared to displace themselves to which ever city ( Yaoundé or Douala) where the semifinals shall be hosted. The selected few from this episode will represent their various regions at the Grand national finals, otherwise known as THE CHAMPIONS, in August of 2022.
